Placement is what matters
Hardware placed along a seam or a panel edge reads as construction — like topstitching that happens to be metal. It follows the shape of the jacket and makes it look considered.
Hardware scattered across the middle of a panel reads as decoration stuck on afterwards. It also ages worse: the centre of a panel flexes more than a seamed edge does, so studs placed there cause puckering over time where edge-placed ones do not.
The layout on this jacket follows the seams and panel lines for exactly those two reasons.
Construction
Real leather on a standard biker pattern — zip front, shaped body panels, waist-length hem. Each stud is set through the hide and closed on the reverse rather than glued, so the fittings hold under years of wear and can be re-set if one ever loosens.
Placement is done by hand, so spacing varies slightly between jackets. No two are quite identical.
Fit, care and honest notes
Regular fit with room for a tee or fine knit at your usual size. Hem at the waist, sleeve at the wrist. Size up for a knit underneath.
